When asked to assist the DBA squad in the deployment of SSIS packages through to production, I became aware of unnecessary workload and pressure at critical project points caused by reconfiguring packages manually for each deployment. I demonstrated the use of parameters and environments for dynamic SSIS configuration and initiated a new process for more efficient deployments.
